Vanier College

Founded in 1970, Vanier College is an English-language institution in the Saint-Laurent borough of Montreal. With a relatively compact campus, Vanier occupies 10 buildings, each identified by a different letter of the alphabet and built at different points in the school’s history, from the early 19th to late 20th century.

Vanier has 6,500 full-time students in more than 25 programs. Pre-university programs include commerce, liberal arts, music, health science and social science. Technical programs include architectural technology, business administration, electrical engineering technology, nursing and special education techniques. An additional 2,000 students are enrolled in the college’s continuing education department.

Vanier’s sports teams are called the Cheetahs. The school has teams in basketball, football, volleyball, soccer and rugby.
